Hey I’m Kayleigh!
I’m a professional makeup artist based in semi-rural Tamahere, just outside of Hamilton in the Waikato, and close to popular venues such as the Red Barn, Narrows Landing and Vilagrad Winery. I specialise in soft but enhanced, lit-from-within makeup, and I love creating hairstyles that are both timeless and on-trend. I tailor all makeup and hair to your preferences though, and work closely with my clients to ensure they look and feel their best on one of the most important days of their lives! As I do both hair and makeup, I can take the stress out of having to hire two different artists for your special day, plus, I come to you!

If you have a large group and I can’t do everybody myself I have an assistant I can bring with me so we can ensure everybody receives the Kayleigh-level standard of service!

I pride myself on keeping up with the latest makeup and hair trends whilst still taking your personal features and style into account.
I am completely mobile so will travel for bookings of 2 or more to wherever you and your friends are getting ready so that you can relax, have a laugh and enjoy getting ready without the hassle of having to drive to a makeup counter far away from home!
Alternatively, bookings can occur at my home studio in Tamahere. This application includes false lashes.
Special Events
Makeup / Hair – $110
Hair & Makeup – $220
Birthdays, parties, work functions, baby showers, engagement parties, or a night out are all reasons to be looking and feeling your absolute best!
Makeup or hair only applications take approximately 45 mins to 1 hour, and makeup and hair together take 1.5 to 2 hours.
This application includes false lashes and can occur at my home studio or at your location for bookings of 2 people or more.
Travel charges do apply.
Photoshoots
Makeup / Hair – $110
Hair & Makeup – $220
Perhaps you have an engagement, maternity, or family photoshoot coming up, or you’re wanting to update your business profile with some amazing headshots.
This application focuses on techniques that will not only enhance your natural features, but that will also photograph amazingly.
I can travel to you for bookings of 2 or more people, otherwise single bookings will take place at my home studio in Tamahere.
Travel charges do apply.
Makeup Lessons
Everyday Makeup - $180 (2 hours)
We’ll go over skin undertones, colour matching, and products to suit an everyday look perfect for your daily lifestyle. We work with your current makeup bag and supplement with my products where needed.
Day to Night Makeup - $220 (2- 3 hours)
We’ll go over the basics of an everyday look and then build on that to a more glam look, perfect for events or those times when you just want to look a little extra!
Afterwards, you’ll get to take home a face chart and a list of all recommended products you might want to add to your collection
Price includes false lash application if you’re also wanting to learn how to apply them
A 1 on 1 lesson is a great way to learn the basics of makeup and how to apply it on yourself. These 2-3 hour, in-depth sessions will take you through step by step how to create a look to suit your unique features, your colouring, your budget and your lifestyle. We work with the makeup you already have and supplement with my products and tools where needed .
After the lesson you will receive a face chart to take home with you, detailing all of the tips, tricks and product recommendations we’ve covered.
If you want to get together with a friend and do a lesson together, I can travel to you for bookings of 2 or more people, otherwise single bookings will take place at my home studio in Tamahere.
